I love capturing memories in my traveler’s notebook. It’s small, so creating bite-sized pages is quick and easy. Because of this, I’m better able to document our life as it happens. And the Make a Pretty Life monthly kits are just enough product to keep me well stocked as the year progresses. I no longer feel inundated by too many product choices but still plenty to keep me inspired. Plus, everything coordinates well, which is so nice! Here’s a look at my latest traveler’s notebook entry—our trip to Disney On Ice, which I made using delights found in the April kit.

When given the choice between e-tickets and printed for an event, I always opt for printed. I love the way they look in projects and the detail they add to my story. I kept the tickets connected so they’d work as an interactive element on my page. Simply move the paper clip and lift to reveal the journaling.

I stitched a tab to the top of the top ticket to indicate the tickets lift.

Thinking of ways to work more into smaller canvases like this is a fun challenge. What’s your favorite way to add more when working with less?

Thanks for checking out my project. I hope it leaves you inspired to sit down and document life as it happens. As this proves, you don’t have to do anything too complex or fancy to make it meaningful and fun.
Cheers!
