With back to school season upon us, I thought the travel theme was perfect for some encouragement cards for my kids. After all, school years are like an adventure and journey, right?

My oldest will be receiving this “scenic route” card because he’s trying something new for school this year. It may not be the “trip” he originally planned, but he isn’t off course, either. It’s like the scenic route and perfect for him.

My next oldest will receive the “road less traveled” card. He’s entering high school and I hope he knows that it’s okay to make the right choice even if it’s unpopular.

My little man is receiving the “you’re so fly” card. He’s an awesome kid and I wanted to remind him that I think so.

My little girl, who just barely missed the TK (transitional kindergarten) deadline is home for preschool once again. The two cars are us, and I wanted her to know I love being with her.

The August kit was just perfect for putting these cards together quickly. The colors are bright and bold, the die-cuts and tags are fun to mix and match, and the buttons and trims make for some great dimension and texture.

Happy Back to School! Enjoy the journey!
