Trims always make me want to create gift wrap—presents and ribbons go hand in hand, I suppose! The trims in the August kit were extra special—velvet, pom-pom, and minty awesome crepe paper—SWOON! I layered them together and adhered them to a canvas bag (found in the MAPL shop) to decorate the front.
At the top, I tied on some embroidery floss tassels and a cobalt blue yarn pom-pom, both of which I made myself in colors that coordinated with the gift bag. I also made a layered tag out of some On Our Way paper bits and die cuts found in the August kit. The final touch was a gray bow made from twine that comes in the pack of Tags & Labels. Once The tag was ready, I clipped it to the bag with a blue mini clothespin, adding a black button for a little something extra!
