Hello, Sunshine! Good news, the May Make a Pretty Life Kit is available. Ready to flamingle with paper and a wide variety of cute embellishments and trim? Me too! Let’s do it to it.
The kit included a blank canvas bag, just right for decorating in any number of ways. I decided to stitch a greeting using twine, also in the kit. First, I measured to make sure the twine would stretch.
But I didn’t take into account the back stitching needed. No worries. The kit has even more twine, so I used it to fill in the blanks on the stitching.
A wood tag made a nice addition in the upper right corner. Guess what?! It’s in the kit, too. As are the poms! They adhered effortlessly using Zots from Therm O Web.
The puffy stickers stick to the fabric, which was a nice surprise. Of course, a little hot glue would also do the trick to keep things attached.
The included tulle in the kit is a fun way to mix up the traditional tissue paper bag stuffer. Leave a little sticking out of the top of your gift bag for fun and personality!
This is the perfect way to spruce up any gift sack!!
