Hello, friends!
This week was Teacher Appreciation week at my daughter’s school, so we got a few goodies for her kindergarten teacher, her bus driver, and even her dance teacher. However, you don’t have to wait for a dedicated day or week to recognize those who do so much for our children. Any time is a wonderful time to express gratitude!
I created the bundle of tags in this post using the April 2018 Make a Pretty Life kit. With all of the awesome die cuts included, it made creating tags super simple!
So simple, in fact, that my five-year-old got in on the action. I love when she’s inspired to craft with me! (It’s a rare treat!)
We placed her card in a bitty envelope and attached it to a caramel apple—makes giving the teacher an apple that much sweeter!
We also gave her bus driver an apple. She’s teaching Maggie the importance of transportation safety and actually calls every single child by name as they exit the bus each day. This is a bus full of grades K-5. Isn’t that something?! An apple’s the least we can do to say thanks for all she does to keep our babies safe when they’re out of our hands. <3
To create this tag, I printed a teacher card from my phone using the Project Life app. I then stitched the image to pretty paper and cut the paper into a tag shape.
With a hole punch, it’s easy to turn anything into a tag. I made the tickets from the kit another tag and wrote “With you, my dreams can soar. Now THAT’S the ticket!” Kind of a silly pun, but I’m sure a teacher will appreciate the effort. (fingers crossed)
Whether you get your kids in on the action or simply whip up a few quick tags yourself, pre-made die cut shapes make it so easy and fun. And the various trims and clips included in the kit (large paperclips, clothespins, etc.) are also very tag friendly. Enjoy!
